I had some interesting ice-cream this week. Baskin & Robbins have brought out a new flavour for Xmas: Very Berry Gingerbread. It's ginger ice-cream with chunks of gingerbread in it plus blueberry ribbons. Rather nice.
I have a guest staying who is proving to be a bad influence. Jim suggested a pub crawl round Freo. Guest suggested we begin with a visit to B&R... well OK then, if you insist. At the end of the evening she declined (yet) another beer (Little Creatures Pale Ale for those who are interested) and asked if there was anywhere open for a late night ice-cream. Well, I could only think of six places off the top of my head but that was sufficient and we toddled off for a very satisfactory 'night cap' of choc chip and cookie dough.
Somehow, I've managed to maintain last week's weight of 75.4 kg but a two week holiday is just beginning so I'm not optimistic about next week. Wish me luck.
