After a week of trying hard, my weight has increased! I have nothing more to say at this time.

I found my old weight watchers pass book yesterday. It made for depressing reading. My weight has gone up a little down a little every week but basically I haven't lost any significant weight since I stopped going to meetings. So, am I returning to the fold? No chance, I'm now well into my collection of Star Trek DVDs and I'm not willing to give them up in order to pay someone to tell me that I'm overweight. Jim can do that for free. However, I have decided to get back on the straight and narrow in so far as my social life allows. 'Eat, drink and be merry for tomorrow we diet' is the cry. I'm just off to the seafront for a short walk to the ice-cream parlour so that I can work out the details of the diet over a double scoop of something chocolately. Incorrigible? Probably.

The blogger toolbar for word was an interesting novelty but it insisted on a huge heading for every post and anyway it disappeared from my toolbar collection of its own accord. I don't want to have to deal with free-thinking toolbars at present so I've consigned it to the 'too hard' basket along with 'exercising everyday' and 'giving up ice-cream'. One day, one day...
If you think my wittering is bad and becoming worse then I suggest you click on the little button at the top right hand side of your screen. It says 'next blog' and will be different every time you click on it. A few clicks will let you sample the minds of bloggers worldwide. You'll soon see what a scary place that is and view my pitiful offerings with a whole new respect.
Highest calorie meal of the week (in the 'I can't believe I ate that' category): Nachos with fries.
Current weight: 77.6 kg

Blogger Toolbar for Word
I’ve just downloaded a toolbar from Blogger which claims to allow me to publish a post directly from Word rather than having to go to the website. I think it’s supposed to work providing I don’t have Outlook open at the same time and and there is an R in the month. If you are reading this then it must have worked. More power to the elbow of the idle blogger.

K: I had this terrible dream.
J: Yeah?
K: Yeah, I dreamt I was quadriplegic.
J: Did anyone notice?
Do you think my beloved is referring to my lack of regular exercise? He may have a point. Spring has arrived, wild flowers (and weeds) are popping up everywhere, the sky is blue, blue, blue, the sun is shining. So how did I choose to spend my weekend? Watching Agent Jack Bauer save the world one more time in a series three '24' marathon on DVD. That's 24 x 45 mins episodes over the weekend with accompanying snacks.
I was thinking I might try a little exercise next weekend but the alternative is a Sopranos marathon. Where would you place your money?
Current weight: 77 kilos- that's actually the cut-off point for someone of my height (Knee high to a duck) Under 77 kg you are classed as overweight. Over 77 kg you are officially obese.
