Thought for the day: Exercise is a dirty word... Every time I hear it, I wash my mouth out with chocolate.
Current weight: 76.4 kg
Hooray, the downward trend continues after two weeks penance. I'd love to tell you it was due to an increase in the amount of exercise I've been taking but there's no point in lying because you wouldn't believe me anyway, would you? Actually, I spent the week watching episode after episode of Kieffer Sutherland in Series 2 of "24" so the only exercise was my thumb on the remote. Anyway, gotta go, the fate of the western world hangs in the balance...

Kay’s top ten ice-cream flavours (this week):
10. Raspberry ripple
9. Vanilla with chocolate sauce
8. Cheese louise (yeah, I know it’s a frozen yoghurt, so sue me)
7. Chocolate and peanut butter
6. Chocolate obsession
5. Dutch chocolate
4. Treasure chest
3. Coconut and chocolate
2. Cookie dough
1. Cookies and cream
I am wearing sackcloth and ashes. I am hanging my head in shame as I type. For the second week in a row I have GAINED weight. Lots of work means no time to exercise. It should also mean no time to eat but somehow I always manage to fit that in. I also fitted in a huge curry extravaganza and a boozy fish & chip lunch. I WILL do better...just as soon as the leftover curry is gone.
Current weight: 77.2 kg

Yet another late posting. I'll get this computer sorted out soon, honest. No rush this week anyway. Bad news to report.
You may recall that last week weightwatchers said I needed to lose 200gm in order to achieve my first 5 kg loss. How did I respond to this major incentive? By GAINING 200gm!Bah! It's my first increase in ages. I blame that excellent curry we had for Sunday lunch. Never mind. I've made some low calorie vegetable soup to redress the balance.
Current weight: 76.8 kg

Once again, my apologies for the late posting. The excuses are the same as ever: computer problems and too much work. I was just about to embark on a blissful five-day weekend when a colleague phoned in sick and I had to cover her class. Oh well, it's all money in the bank, I suppose. That did not seem like much of a consolation when the alarm went off this morning.
I went to what I think will be my last ever WW meeting on Monday. I stocked up on low cal sweeties and mentally bid the gang a fond farewell. Star Trek gets my cash in future. WW said I was within 200gm of reaching a 5 kilo loss. They award you a bookmark when you have lost five kilos. However, if I skip the next meeting I'll be able to buy myself a whole book instead.
Current weight: 76.6 kg

I tried on some size 16 clothes this week. AND THEY WERE TOO BIG! Yes, really, it's true. I may have to stop shopping at outsize shops soon. Back to the op shops, then. (That's charity second-hand shops for my non-Aussie readers.)
Another 200gms down this week. Hardly startling but in view of the fish and chips plus another delicious meal at the Moroccan restaurant it's a relief not to be gaining. Current weight 77kg.
